11 - 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
12 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
# Preparation Steps:
01 - Combine warm water, active dry yeast, and sugar in a large bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
02 - Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
03 - Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
04 - Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and allow to rise in a warm environment for 45 to 60 minutes until doubled in size.
05 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
06 - Punch down the risen dough and roll into a 9 by 13-inch rectangle. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt to create garlic butter.
08 - Brush the garlic butter evenly over the rolled dough.
09 - Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly on top of the garlic butter-coated dough.
10 - Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
11 - Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice into 8 individual breadsticks and serve warm.
