# Preparation Steps:
01 - Preheat oven to 325°F.
02 - Pat the chuck roast dry with paper towels and place it in a large Dutch oven or roasting pan with a tight-fitting lid.
03 - Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the top of the roast.
04 - Pour beef broth around the roast without washing off the seasoning.
05 - Cover tightly with the lid or aluminum foil and roast in the oven for 3 hours, or until fork-tender.
06 - Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice or shred and serve with pan juices.
