# Preparation Steps:
01 - Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Toss asparagus spears with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill or sauté for 3 to 4 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender with light charring. Remove from heat.
02 - Butter one side of each bread slice. Place two slices buttered side down on a clean surface. Layer with half the Brie, grilled asparagus, then remaining Brie. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
03 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add sandwiches and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
04 - Remove from heat and let rest for 1 minute. Slice diagonally and serve warm.
