08 - 4 slices sourdough or whole grain bread
09 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or softened butter for spreading
# Preparation Steps:
01 - Set air fryer to 375°F and preheat for 3 minutes.
02 - Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped broccoli; sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until broccoli is bright green and tender. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
03 - Mix sautéed broccoli with cream cheese and shredded cheddar until thoroughly combined.
04 - Spread mayonnaise or softened butter thinly on one side of each bread slice. Evenly distribute broccoli-cheddar mixture on the unbuttered side of two slices. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
05 - Place sandwiches in air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary. Cook at 375°F for 4 to 5 minutes per side, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crisp.
